Sitting Pretty

Sitting Pretty - My team is up at Sunday Sketch and Stamp today. Here is our awesome sketch.

My DP's are Recollections Blue Christmas.

My image is Bugaboo's Ava Christmas Sitter. Bugaboo is our sponsor for this challenge. They have some really cute images, not to mention their fun Stella and Gus images.

Ava was colored with Copics and after cutting with a SB, I used Polar White Flower Soft on her hat.

For my card, I used a SU border die to make the fun cut. I cut it through the entire card, then again with the blue cardstock. I really like how it opens.

The bow was tied with my Bow Easy and I used a fun pearl snowflake button in the center.

Braided Birds

Braided Birds - One Stop Craft Challenge is starting a new challenge today and the new challenge is Sparkle and Bling. Woo Hoo, one of my favorites!

Our sponsor this challenge is A Day for Daisies. If you are not familar with them, then you have got to go and check out the rest of their images. They are gorgeous!!!

I used Braid in my hair. I really enjoyed coloring her with my Copic's. She is beautiful and such a unique angle. Hair is always so fun to color. It makes me think of Cinderella with the animals helping her to get ready for the ball. I added Stickles to the birds. D

My DP is Pressed Petals, Baby Boy. I have a lot of grandsons, no granddaughters yet : (, so I buy a lot of blue papers. LOL Everything was inked with Peacock Feathers distress ink.

The rose ribbon was colored with the same Peacock Feathers distress ink and a blending tool. After it was inked, I added gemstones to the centers of the roses.

Come and show us your sparkle and bling at One Stop Craft Challenge.

Tickled Pink

Tickled Pink - Today's challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity is Tic Tac Toe. What a fun challenge! My card actually mets the requirements for 1 row and 1 column. The top row arcross and the middle column down.

My designer paper is from one of my favorite paper pads, Glitz Pack, Afternoon Muse. I only a few sheets left, but I continue to enjoy using it.

The muted pink paper is some that I made last year for a Valentine SU party that I attended last year. We used shaving cream and reinkers to make it. It was so much fun to play with.

My image is Princess Nella by Crafts 4 Eternity. She was so fun to color with my Copics. I use the WG. I really like to use them for gray animals. I added some Stickles to her slip.

I added some pom pom trim to the bottom of the card.

My leave is a SU die that I inked with Blue China distress inks then shaped with a pinching motion. The flowers are a Prima, set with a rose and a couple of others roses with the Prima. The Prima was colored with my Copics. The rose buds are Melissa Frances that I colored the tips of with Worn Lipstick distress ink. The bow was tied with my Bow Easy.

The sentiment and punch are both SU.

Thanks for stopping by.

Flower Garden

Flower Garden - We have had someone sick for the last 2 months and I just hope that we turn the corner soon. My 9 month grandson had a night in the hospital with RSV, but is now home and doing better. Now the 3 year old is taking his turn again. I am hoping that flu season is soon over.

Today is challenge day at Creative Card Crew and this time around it is.... girly.

Our sponsor is Crafty Sentiments Designs. They are a new sponsor for us and it was fun to work with great images that were so new to me.

My DP is K and Company SW Nature. I love SW papers. The colors are brilliant yet soft and muted the same time.

My image is Crafty Sentiments Tess Summer Fun. I think she is adorable and was a blast to color with my Copics. I added some Stickles to her headband, necklace and the flowers. I use Elements Bark in the center of the daisies.

I used a S die and cut it to frame the image. All my papers were inked with Tea Dye distress inks.

My sentiment is Hot Off the Press tiny words. I love this set and rarely does a week go by that I don't use this set.

I used my pearl pen to make the yellow pearls.

The bow was tied using my Bow Easy.

My fence is another SB die.

Live It Up

Live it Up - We had 2 sponsors at Seems a Little Sketchy, so I did a card for each of them. The second sponsor is Eureka, another stamp company. I had not seen their images before, so it was fun to see their different style. They sale rubber stamps, as well as digi stamps and a whole host of other crafting products. So check them out!

This image is Eureka's Cowgirl. Isn't she adorable? I colored her with Copics and added Stickles to her halo, wings and shirt hem.

My DP's are K and Company's Edamane. My sentiment is Studio G and I finished off the card with 3 pink gemstones.

Arm in Arm

Arm in Arm - Isn't this just the sweetest couple? Such a simple design and yet memorable.

I designed this card for my DT card at Seems a Little Sketchy and I was also guest designing at Stamp With Fun.

For Seems a Little Sketchy, above is the sketch that is the challenge. And for Stamp With Fun the challenge is Swirls.

No Designer paper on this on. Just some White Wash paper that I ran through the CB with the Swirl embossing folder and then sanded the white off to reveal the pink under it.

My image is Bugaboo's AKV Love, who is our sponsor at Seems a Little Sketchy. This image, like most of Bugaboo's was quick and easy to color with my Copics. The image and mat were cut with a SB.

My flower is a stem that I cut down and the swirly vine is CL. I then added 3 buttons.

In closing, I would like to thank Stamp With Fun for inviting me to guest design with them. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Bicycle Build for 2

Bicycle Build for 2 - It is time for another challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity. This time we want to see all of your punches. I love to use punches, so it was an easy and fun one for me.

This is also my DT card for Alphabet Challenge Blog. This fortnight, we are challenging you to us Y- for yummy. I thought carrots would make a nice yummy snack for these sweet little bunnies.

I love the colors on this card. My papers are DCWV Pocket Full of Posies. It is one of the first glitter papers that I bought. This particular sheet does not have glitter on it, but most of the rest of the papers in the pad do have glitter.

My image is Crafty Sentiments, Bunny 5. Aren't they adorable? I colored them with Copics and added some Stickles to the girl bunny's bow, collar and ruffle.

I use a SU punch on the border. I punched it out twice with white and then blue and layered them.

The carrot, I hand drew, then shaped it and added some greenery from a MS punch.

My bow was tied with my Bow Easy.

All of the blue pearls were made using my pearl pen. I used 2 more punches on my sentiment (SU.)

Wings of an Angel

Wings of an Angel - I am thrilled to have been asked to guest design for Stamp With Fun. I love this challenge and often play with it.

Their challenge is this gorgeous sketch.

My DP are Recollections Blue Christmas.

I love this paper pad. All of the papers are a beautiful shade of blue and blue-green.

My image is Stitchy Bear Stamps. The image is called Ms North. The wings were really fun to color with my Copics.

The image was cut with a SB and inked with Peacock Feathers distress ink. The sentiment was hand written.

The trim was a scrap and I tied the bow with my Bow Easy. I then added a feather and stick pin.

I get most of my stick pin supplies from Judy at Pizzazz Aplenty. She has a great selection of pins and beads. She also carries some flowers and ribbon.

Moody Blues

Moody Blues - We are having a color challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity this week. Just look at those beautiful blues!!!!! It is perfect for winter projects!

I did a page for this challenge. I am so behind in my scrap booking. Cards are quicker, so I tend to do more of them, plus I really enjoy coloring with my Copics. I feel that the photos should be the center of attention on a scrap book page.

Speaking of photos, this is one of my daughters and her children. Aren't they lovely from the back? LOL Artistically,  I really like this photo.

This photo was taken a few days before Christmas. We did get snow for Christmas, just a few days after this this photo was taken.

My designer papers are DCWV  Arctic Wishes.

The vine die is a CL. The big blue flower is Recollections and the tiny flowers were made with HC stamps and dies. I speckled different size clear gemstones around the flower arrangement.

I used the same dies and stamp on this smaller arrangement.

This little seal is part of the paper. I just added a few gemstones to the center of the snowflakes. the year was cut with my Cricut using the Plantin School book cartridge.

This challenge is sponsored by Floppy Latte.
